01 — About us
Klang-Chaode Gottenheim e.V. is a registered non-profit-style association rooted in the community of Gottenheim in south-west Germany. Our work sits in the field of arts, entertainment and recreation: we bring people together through music, performance and creative activity.
The name says a lot about how we see ourselves. Klang is the German word for sound or tone, and sound is where everything begins for us: a rehearsal, a concert, a conversation after the last song. We believe that making and enjoying culture together strengthens the places where people live, and that this does not require a big city or a big budget.
As an association, we are organised around the people who take part. Members, volunteers and guests shape our programme through their ideas, skills and time. That keeps our events personal and grounded in what the community actually wants to experience, rather than in what is simply easy to schedule.
We work across several areas: live music and performance evenings, hands-on workshops, regular creative meetings, and programmes designed for families and younger participants. Each of these is planned with a welcoming tone, clear communication and respect for people at every level of experience.
Culture grows where people make room for it – on a stage, in a hall, or around a table.
To create accessible, enjoyable cultural experiences in and around Gottenheim and to encourage active participation, not only attendance.
Open, friendly and practical. We plan events carefully, communicate clearly and keep our activities easy to join.
Neighbours, families, musicians, hobby artists and volunteers. Everyone with an interest in culture is welcome to take part.
02 — Activities
Our programme combines regular activities with seasonal highlights. Details, dates and availability are shared with members and on request via email.
Concerts and informal performance nights that bring local and regional musicians together with an attentive audience. We care about good sound, a comfortable atmosphere and a programme that suits the occasion.
Practical sessions for people who want to try something new or deepen existing skills, from musical basics and rhythm to creative expression. Led in a relaxed setting where questions are encouraged.
Regular get-togethers for members who enjoy making music or creative work together. A steady rhythm of meetings gives ideas time to grow and helps newcomers find their place in the group.
Playful, age-appropriate activities that introduce children and young people to music and performance. Designed so that parents and guardians can take part too, turning culture into a shared family experience.
Seasonal celebrations, themed evenings and community get-togethers that combine entertainment with conversation. These events are open to guests and are a good first step for anyone curious about the association.
We are open to conversations with local organisations, schools, clubs and cultural partners who would like to organise or co-host an event. Contact us with your idea and we will discuss what is feasible.
